Review: Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask

Last week, @shop.myl approached me and so kindly sent me these Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask to try.

I’ve recently heard about microcurrent sheet mask, and was still researching on it to know it better. So I was really excited to try it first hand and see how it works!

Product Description

Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask is an innovative high tech beauty product.

Batteries are actually printed on the mask fabrics. This enables them to turn regular sheet mask fabrics into a microcurrent generating carrier.

The sheet masks are then able to carry out electrophoresis, allowing botanical extract serum to permeate and penetrate the skin layers 4 times deeper into the depths of your skin. This is similar to those ionic device that facial salon uses!

How to use

Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask is really unique as the sheet mask fabric and serums are separated.

Once the serum comes in contact with Akimia sheet mask fabric, a REDOX reaction occurs and a microcurrent is generated on the surface.

Once applied to your face, it enables iontophoretic transdermal delivery of active ingredients within the serum.

Key Ingredients

For Brightening : Tranexamic Acid, Vitamin C Sodium, Ascorbyl Phosphat, Vitamin B3 Nicotinamide

Comprehensively inhibits melanin, effectively brightening and evening out complexion.

The multi-functioning ingredients are also moisturising, and anti-aging, restoring dewy radiance from within.

For Moisurising: Edelweiss extract Chlorogenic Acid

Nourishes and protects the skin, restoring radiance and plumpness for that youthful glow.

Edelweiss extract is also rich in minerals, affective in brightening, soothing, and enhancing self-repair abilities of the skin. It is able to achieve excellent results in anti-aging and anti-inflammation.

My Opinions

The Akemia Microcurrent Sheet Mask is such a highly innovative product which has 8 in 1 benefits!

It’s also good to know, that Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask is HSA notified so you don’t have to worry!

As a first time user, the instructions was to use this sheet mask consecutively for 2 days, which i did! and I’m so amazed by the results!

As you can see, before using the face mask, I had skin irritation, inflammation and bumpiness around my mouth & jawline from using facemask for long hours the day before.

I have super sensitive skin! One day I can have pretty good skin and next day it can flare up like that! Does anyone get this as well??

Here is the morning after using the face mask once! Is the result insane or what!?! My skin is almost 70-80% better!

Bumpinesson my skin is smoothed out, the patches of inflammed skin around my mouth area also signicantly improved!

My skin also has a glow! and pores are smaller!

Morning after using the face mask the second time. You can see that pores are still minimised, the red patches around my mouth is less red and healing and skin is also brighter from 1st – 2nd use!

Before using the face mask, I also have some pimple marks on the other side of my face so you guys can see how this mask works to lighten them!

You can see from the photos that the pimple marks has significantly lighten you can barely see it!

Also, my skin is glowing! Can you see the glass skin texture?

Conclusion

I was super impressed by Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask!

To be honest, My skin condition is usually fairly good with minor blemishes. When I received the face mask from them I was abit worried as I dun know if my skin condition can show their efficiency or not.

Before trying out this face mask, my skin flared up and the condition worsened, so the face mask was really put to the test!

Do note, that everyone has different skin types, so how it works for me may work for you differently!

Most serum type sheet mask I’ve used, I would have to use it everyday for at least a week, to see some visible results.

With Akimia Microcurrent Sheet Mask, the process was really accelerated! Thanks to it’s technology! With 1 use, my skin was already 70-80% better! As you can see from the pictures.
