The Cavilla Eyelash Serum is constantly popping up on my instagram feed and this really piqued my interest!
I’ve never felt the need to use an Eyelash Serum until circuit breaker temporarily closed my usual lash extension place!
There are many different brands of Eyelash Serum in the market which promises longer, stronger, darker and healthy lashes. However, their price point was just too expensive!
They range into the hundreds of dollars for 3-6 ml of serum which I’m not ready to spend on! Maybe one day, but not now! So finding one within my budget and also deliver on it’s claims was very important to me!
The Cavilla Eyelash Serum was priced somewhere in the mid-range of all Eyelash Serums I came across. It retails for SGD56 each. However, there are bundle deals where the price for one item would be significantly cheaper.
Product Description
The Cavilla Eyelash Serum comes in a beautiful matte royal blue tube with a slender brush type applicator which dispense the right amount of serum to the root of your lashes. It also makes the application process a breeze! Just swipe the soft, thin brush on your lash line and you’re done!
The serum contains bio-enzyme called “EPM” which is made with 10 different types of amino acids. These amino acids are essential to human growth which helps hair, muscles, skin and tissues formation. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid which nourishes eyelashes from the roots to tips and Ligustrum Lucidum extract which helps to activate each hair follicle.
All ingredients in the serum work together to help stimulates the hair follicles tissues and encourage eyelash growth.
Product Claims
The Cavilla Eyelash Serum promises to help provide nutrients needed for eyelash growth which helps to grow thick and long eyelashes.
Personal Opinion
Did the Cavilla Eyelash Serum work? I’m happy to say, it really did deliver on it’s promises!!! I’ve been using it for about 4 weeks on both my top and bottom lashes twice a day. I apply once in the morning and once in the evening before bed.
Looking at the progress photos, need I say more?
My lashes was previously around 6mm but it’s now grown to about 8mm! I’ve also noticed that there is also a slight natural upward curl of my natural lashes which makes them look slightly lifted!
If you have sensitive eyes, you may in feel a slight tingle on your lashline where you would apply the serum. On me, the tingle didn’t last long and after using the product frequently I don’t feel anything when I use this product.
However, products may react differently on different skin types so if the tingling sensation doesn’t go away after frequent use, listen to your body and stop using the product immediately!
As the serum is in liquid form almost like water, remember to not load too much of the liquid on your lash line, you don’t want any of that serum going into your eyes!
Some users have also noticed a slight darkening around the eyelids. I’ve personally experience that when I started using the serum especially when I was trying to put more of it on my eyelash hoping it will make my lashes grow faster!
However, once I’ve learnt to adjust the amount by using less of it and focused on applying a thin layer across my lash line, I didn’t experience any more darkening.
Conclusion
Just like any other Eyelash Serum, you have to be patient when using Cavilla Eyelash Serum. Don’t expect your lashes to drastically grow overnight. You will definitely see visible results in time to come!
When making your purchase, make sure you buy them from authorised sellers. The Cavilla Eyelash Serum is so popular that there are imitation of these on the market. You definitely don’t want to be applying those on your eyes!
