I’ve recently been dealing with hair loss due to stress and this got me on the bandwagon of scalp care and trying out different hair loss products. I even bought a portable microscope to scan my scalp every few days to check if it’s clogged or inflamed. So what better way to share my review of Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub then with actual before and after pictures of my scalp! Here’s my review on it!
Product Description
Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub is an exfoliating shampoo formulated to detoxify and soothe sensitive or oily scalp. It helps to refresh sensitive or oily scalp and removes daily build-up, helping to calm the sensation of itchy scalp.
It contains sea salt crystals to gently exfoliate. Natural carbohydrate complex which helps to rebalance the scalp’s natural defences by reducing the effects of dehydration and Bisabolol extracted from the Brazilian candeia tree which helps to calm the scalp as it cleanses.
My Opinions
The sea salt scrub comes in a pretty huge tub and only a table spoonful is required to scrub and cleanse your scalp. The texture of the scrub is extremely gritty and thick, almost paste-like. The sea salt bits are quite coarse and in my opinion I would have liked it to be finer. However, the product works EXTREMELY WELL so it’s a minor detail I can overlook. It lathers up beautifully once you emulsify it with water and works like a shampoo.
After use, your scalp feels super clean and refreshed! I kid you not! check out the before and after pictures below!

As you can see, before using Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub, my scalp is clogged, super oily and inflamed. Look at the redness on my scalp!
After
As you can see, after using the sea salt scrub, my scalp is significantly soothed and build up is removed. you can also see that my oily scalp is now super clean!
Where to Purchase
I bought mine at SGD72 from Sephora Singapore. It’s quite pricey but from the before and after pictures, it’s save to say, this product really works!! Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub is definitely worth your coins!
