Last week, I posted a review on Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum, which is said to be a dupe for the iconic Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum!
I’ve used the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum religiously many years back. Though I’ve moved on to other skincare products, I still keep a travel size version in my skincare collection! SO what better way than to use it again and share my thoughts on it!
The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum is marketed as a night time renewal serum which helps to ‘repair’ your skin while you sleep.
The serum contains Estee Lauder’s exclusive ChronoluxCB™ Technology, Anti-oxidants and Hyaluronic Acid. The serum uses our skin’s natural nighttime renewal process to maximise it’s benefits!
It claims to significantly reduce the key signs of aging by reducing lines and wrinkles, provide intense hydration for more radiant, fresher and healthy looking skin! It’s oil-free, Dermatologist-tested, Ophthalmologist-tested, won’t clog pores and is also fragrance free.
Key Ingredient
Bifida Ferment Lysate
Bifida Ferment Lysate helps to target redness, helps with anti-aging and is anti-inflammatory as well!
Doesn’t this ingredient sound familiar? That’s because, it’s the EXACT same key ingredient as Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum!
So is Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum a dupe for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum? Read on to find out!
Texture
The texture of the serum is silky smooth and thick, almost like the texture of honey!
When you smooth it over your skin, it instantly hydrates. There is also a cooling, almost mild minty effect which I find rather soothing!
Even with it’s more viscous texture, the serum easily absorbs into the skin and doesn’t leave any heaviness. There is however a slight stickiness after application which isn’t a problem for me since I head to bed after apply it.
My Opinion
The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum has a noticable fragrance! I was surprise that it was marketed as a fragrance free product! The fragrance is light and bearable nothing overpowering here!
The serum is extremely hydrating and helps to refine skin texture! I’ve noticed my skin looking smoother and pores are definitely minimised!
After using this serum for the past week, I have also noticed a brighter more even skin tone as well! My skin looks fresher and brighter in the morning even after a late night the previous day!
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum retails for SGD $175.00 for 50ml and SGD $217.00 for 75ml. Sephora Singapore is currently having a buy 1 get 1 promo which is really worth it! you can even buy together with a friend and enjoy the product at 1/2 price!
Is Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum a dupe for Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum?
Sadly it’s not! Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum may have inspired Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum but they are both definately not the same.
They both have different textures, they both feel different on the skin and provide different skin benefits. For example, With Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, I see a visible brightening effect which I don’t get from Manyo Factory Bifida Complex Ampoule Serum.
Both serums have their own star quality and it’s best to appreciate them on their own!
