Review: Balance Being Sheet Mask by QING

Together with Skin Sake by QING, I also received the new Balance Being Sheet Mask by QING! I always love to try a new sheet mask! and this one didn’t disappoint!

Balance Being Sheet Mask was created out of the search and need for ONE mask that targets the fundamental root of achieving healthy and resilient skin. Instead of layering on endless products we must let it learn how to rebalance itself and let it grow to be resilient.

With Balance Being Sheet Mask, it helps to rebalance our oil to moisture ratio to what our skin actually need. And, also helps to calm the skin down and put the right amount of hydration to build resilient, refreshed and regenerated skin cells.

Key Ingredients

Lecithin

Lecithin is an active ingredient that helps to soften the skin. It alters the skin structure to allow the skincare products to penetrate deeper into your skin.

It’s also an antioxidant to repair free radical damage and soothe inflames and irritated skin.

Lecithin is also effective in restoring hydration by attracting water to the skin to prevent moisture loss from deep within the skin’s tissues.

Glycerin

Glycerin holds moisture in our skin and gives it a youthful, healthy glow. By drawing moisture to the top layer of skin. It also helps to slow down the loss of water from our skin which keeps our skin moist and hydrated even in air-conditioned or dry environment.

Glycerin also reduces the appearance of wrinkles and keeps skin looking soft and smooth and help to reduce acne gently with no harsh drying effects.

Salix Alba White Willow Bark

Salix Alba White Willow Bark extract helps to soothe irritated skin as it contains salicin – from which salicylic acid is derived. This makes this ingredients extremely versatile that it is both anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial, clearing pores and relieving acne and irritation.

In addition to salicin, Salix Alba White Willow Bark extract is also high in tannins, phenolic acids, flavonoids, and various minerals, all of which helps to soothe the skin and aid in cell regeneration.

Rice Bran Extract

Rice Bran Extract is a gentle oil which effectively reduces signs of aging while soothing, hydrating and protecting the skin.

Gamma-oryzanol, a unique and extremely rare component, particularly promotes circulation to effectively even out skin tone and texture. Rice Bran contains high levels of Vitamins B & E and is an excellent hydrator and anti-ager. It also contains squalene, which occurs naturally in human sebum (the oils in our skin that keep us hydrated and maintain the skin’s protective barrier)

Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol helps with healing, calming and soothing the skin, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is known to be equally if not more effective than retinol at targeting fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.The main difference is that it is proven to be less of an irritant to the skin.

Bakuchiol triggers the genetic pathway in skin cells to create several types of collagen that are useful in skin health and anti-aging. Plus, unlike retinol which can cause the skin to be hypersensitive to the sun, Bakuchiol actually helps to make skin less sensitive to the sun’s harmful rays.

Magnolia Grandiflora

Magnolia Bark Extract has been used for centuries for it’s anti-inflammatory purposes in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It helps greatly in preventing loss of skin elasticity and reduce reddening and itchiness of the skin. It has a clarifying and anti-bacterial property that ensures acne-causing bacteria are eliminated to improve/prevent acne.

Echinops Sphaerocephalus Extract

Also known as Lake Baikal’s Blue Miracle. It is sourced from Lake Baikal which is the 7th largest lake in the world and also one of the clearest and deepest lake to be found) Echinops Spaerocephalus is a plant that can instantly increase skin hydration by 26.7%

Emperor Flower

Also known as Protea Cynaroides Flower, has long growth and flowering period that can exceed 100 years. It is researched and found to be rich in Polyphenols with antioxidant potential. When used on skin, it elevates elastin by 16.6% and elevates elastin by 16.6% and elevate cell activity by 28% so you can count on this key ingredient to rejuvenate your skin.

My Opinions

Balance Being Sheet Mask by QING is extremely refreshing and soothing which is the type of sheet mask I love!

The texture of the essence is light, non-sticky and absorbs easily into the skin! There are 5 sheet masks in a box and I’ve used it consecutively for 5 days without any breakouts! My skin was instead smoother, brighter and fresher! so the Balance Being Sheet Mask is perfect for daily masking!

This sheet mask also helps to soothe MASKNE! I had a few blemish on my face before using it and after 5 days of using this mask, the blemishes has significantly gone down!

You can also tell that the redness and discolouration under my eye and at the corner of my eyes have diminished! My skin tone is also fairer and more even than before!

There were also some tiny red spots around my mouth and cheeks before using Balance Being Sheet Mask by QING. But now, they are soothed and my skin is so much clearer!

All in all, I love the Balance Being Sheet Mask for it’s soothing properties and I also love how it has even out my skin tone! The significant improvement of the discolouration around my eyes is the most obvious difference and improvement! I’ve also used it after exfoliating my skin with Skin Sake by QING which helps the product absorb better into my skin!

I also love that it is light enough to use it as a daily mask! It gives the right amount of moisture, soothes redness, doesn’t clog my pores and brightens my skin!
