I’m a huge fan of Ksisters! So, when Ksister’s founder Jung Min started her own beauty brand Jung Beauty, and launched her first product – 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa, I had to get my hands on it and review it for you guys!
Product Description
The 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa is a premium hair mask which allows you to enjoy salon quality treatment in the comfort of your own home. It helps to nourish dry & damaged hair to provide intense hydration to bring health and vitality back into your tresses.
Step 1 of This hair mask is unlike your regular store bought hair mask that comes in a tub. The creamy, lightweight hair mask comes filled in a plastic hair cover which you would need to wrap over your head. It kind of reminds me of a shower cap. The kind you’d find in your hotel bathroom!
Once the hair mask is securely in place, within minutes, you’d feel a gentle steaming effect which is generated by various plant extracts.
This helps to open up cuticles and maximise absorption of the nourishing ingredients in the hair mask.
To differentiate from other hair masks, Jung Beauty have added an additional second step. A leave-in Keratin treatment to maximise the effects of the hair mask and to provide extra hydration!

My Opinion
This is by far one of THE BEST at home hair mask I’ve ever used! The Jung Beauty 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa really gives the same effect as getting an expensive hair treatment done at a salon!
My experience with hair mask which you can probably relate to, are the kind that comes in a tub. Most of the hair mask I’ve used, feels more like a deep conditioner which doesn’t really go deep into the layers of the hair to soften it. However, the Jung Beauty Hair Mask really does soften and nourish my hair deeply!

I have permed hair and the last time I got a hair treatment done was a year ago. So my hair was really dry and really damaged! Especially the ends! and because my hair is quite long, I end up with a lot of hair breakage and deep tangles whenever I brush it out!
While using the hair mask, I could really feel a warm steaming effect which I was so amazed by! and while rinsing the mask away, my first thought was my hair strands was really soft and malleable! It didn’t feel the same as when I used my regular hair mask
Needless to say, my hair was super duper soft and shiny even before I applied the second step leave in treatment and dried it! I couldn’t stop touching my hair and running my fingers through it!
My husband also agreed my hair feels softer and shinier and the texture was different than before!
Here is a picture of my hair the day after, frizziness in my hair is reduced and my curls are SO DEFINED as compared to the before photo!
The hair mask also has a pleasant rose scent from the moment you remove the mask from the pack to applying the leave in treatment up till drying it! The rose scent even lingers until your next wash!
Also, there was so much product leftover for the Step 2 – leave-in treatment that you can use it for another 4-5 days! My hair is pretty long, so if you have shorter hair, you could use it for even longer after washing your hair!
Conclusion
Jung Beauty 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa is now my favourite hair mask! I love that I can get salon quality treatment in my home just as Jung Beauty has claimed! It’s also much cheaper than getting your treatment at a salon!
One thing to note, is that you’ll need time when using the Jung Beauty 2 Step Steaming Hair Spa. It takes about 25-30 mins from putting on the hair mask to washing it out.
