I can’t stop raving about Yulip Lipsticks and Lip Balms! I’ve been using them everyday since I received them!
Ksisters kindly sent them over and once I received them, I couldn’t help swatching and applying them on my lips! Here is my full review on them!
Background
Founded by Hyesung Won in 2017, YULIP features 100% non-toxic and all natural lipsticks.
While she was pregnant with her child, even though she has been only applying natural skin products onto her face, her lips had become seriously irritated because of the luxurious, beautiful lipsticks she was wearing.
She began researching non-irritating, organic and all-natural ingredients, and decided to launch her own brand. Hence, the birth of Yulip!
Yulip has 2 ranges – one is their lipstick collection and the second is their vegan lip balm collection called Lip Almighty!
Product Description
The 3 shades I received from Ksisters was Gochujang, 11AM and Bunong which is Yulip’s latest release for their Tinted lip balm range – Lip Almighty.
Bunong (Tinted Lipbalm)
The tinted lip balms are Non-toxic, fragrance-free, allergen-free, vegan, certified organic ingredients help to boost your natural power of your lips with the sheer, buildable color.
Bunong is a sheer candy pink colour which is perfect for that ‘no makeup’ look! This lip balm is pigmented from natural colour from real veggies! It’s jammed packed with nutrient-rich, plant-based oils and waxes as well, making this lip balm super moisturising!
As this is a vegan and clean lip balm, I was surprised that the colour is quite buildable! so if you’re looking for an everyday lip balm that provides just the right touch of colour to brighten your complexion this is the colour to go for!
Gochujang
Yulip lipsticks contains Certified organic ingredient and are super moisturizing, 100% natural, fragrance-free and cruelty free!
Gochujang is a bright chilli red colour with a coral undertone. The texture is of this lipstick is super creamy and lightweight. The best part of the lipstick, is that the colour is super pigmented and long-lasting!
On me, the orange-coral undertones of Gochujang is the most obvious! It looks more orangey-red rather than a chilli red!
AM11
AM11 is a deep coral color close to burnt orange tone. The texture of this lipstick is once again super creamy and lightweight. However, it leaves a semi-matte finish. Just like Gochujang, this colour is super pigmented and long lasting!
On me, AM11 comes across as a natural coral-nude pink color rather than a deep coral color as described! Which makes this shade perfect for days when you want to look bit more put together but not overly done!
Conclusion
I absolutely love Yulip Lipsticks and Lip Balms! Especially because their safe for pregnant mummies!
I have friends who struggle to find clean make up once they got pregnant! Especially lipsticks! and now with Yulip they can stay safe and beautiful!
Yulip products are of such good quality! And even though they are clean make up with non-toxic ingredients, their texture and colour payoff are comparable to luxury brand lipsticks and balms! No joke!
