Getting my concealer to last all day in a humid weather is a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY! Over the years I’ve tried and tested different ways to make it last and here are my 4 go-to tips which helps them stay put ALL DAY!
1.) Prep your Under Eyes
I suffer from dry under eyes and so I love to prep them with a light weight moisturising eye cream before applying any foundation and concealer. This helps to hydrate and blur out my fine lines! It also prevents any concealer from clinging onto those dry patches! My favourite under eye cream is Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery! 2.) Use an Eye-Shadow Primer
Yup! You heard me! Eye-Shadow Primer is not just for your lids! I’d pop some under my eyes before applying concealer and this makes my concealer stay put FOREVER!
My favourite Eye-Shadow primer for under eyes is Urban Decay Cosmetics Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion! It’s moisturising enough to help fill in my fine lines making it a smooth canvas to work with!

3.) Less Is More
I’ve learnt over the years with concealers that LESS IS MORE! The more I tried to apply to cover my dark circles the more cakey and streaky it looked! I’ve found the best way for me was to apply my concealer is in thin layers with my fingertips. The warmth from my fingers help my concealer to blend and meld in my skin perfectly as compared with using a brush! Giving it a flawless perfect finish!
4.) Set It with a finishing powder
I LOVE baking my under eyes and setting it with a translucent finishing powder. I’ve tried it WITHOUT setting powder and by lunchtime I’m a streaky creasing mess! My favourite finishing powders are Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder and Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder they are super fine and lightweight in texture making them perfect finishing powders!
