Review: Skin Sake by QING

I’m always excited to try new products! so, when I was introduced to Skin Sake by QING, I couldn’t wait to try it out!

QING was birth from the belief that everything has to start from a good, clean base by cleansing and detoxing. Essentially, Keeping things simple. I love that Skin Sake is not tested on animal and only cruelty-free ingredients are used!

Skin Sake by QING is a gentle yet powerful liquid exfoliator used for removal of dead skin and lightening areas of body that have been darkened due to external factors such as perspiration, moisture, necklace marks on necks, rubbing of thighs, etc.

It can be used on your face, neck, body, inner thighs, armpits, elbows, kneecaps, ankles, feet. Basically, anywhere on your body where dead skin would accumulate!

Key Ingredients

Sodium Chloride

It’s a gentle and natural form of exfoliator for the top layers of your skin. It helps to remove dead skin and other impurities on your body that may have accumulated over time.

Rice Extract

It helps to boost cell regeneration which keeps the skin bright and supple. Rice water and Bran oils also contains linoleum acids, which are fatty acids that offer anti-inflammatory and moisturising properties to keep skin soft and supple.

Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate helps to restore skin’s moisture for a revitalised and youthful complexion. It is gentle enough for use on most skin types, including acne-prone skin. It also helps smoothes the appearance of wrinkles and improves the skin’s texture.

Papain

Papain is an enzyme extracted from the raw fruit of the Papaya plant! It has been widely known for it’s effectiveness in exfoliating treatments especially to remove dead skin.

Algin

Rooted from alginate (a naturally occurring polymer obtained from brown algae), algin is a great source of anti-oxidant for the skin. It moisturises and remineralise skin and improves cell metabolism and skin elasticity.

My Opinion

I absolutely love Skin Sake by Qing because it works! When this product reached me, I tested it out on my ankle to gauge how effective this product would be.

Skin Sake has a really light watery texture, that when I sprayed it on, I was a little worried and had doubts as to whether it would work or not. But, I was blown away, as I saw my dead skin being exfoliated away before my very eyes! My skin was also slightly brightened in the area I’ve used it! Here are the unedited before and after pictures!

After that, I wanted to use it on my my elbows and knees to see the amazing results!

I’ve also used it on my face, which I found to be effective in removing surface dead skin and any patches of dry skin! After using it, my skin also felt softer and smoother!

As the product is being used, you would also see bits of dead skin balled up! It’s quite gross to be honest, but that’s how you know the product is working!

The design of the bottle also makes it easy to reach difficult spots, the spray nozzle also works upside down!

Overall, the before and after pictures speaks for itself! After just 1 use, you can see that the rough deadskin on my ankle is completely gone! And the rest has significantly lightened! I can’t wait to use it more often so that they can lighten even more! Do keep in mind that results varies for each individual!
