My Evening Skincare Routine

I’m OBSESSED with skincare! And am a firm believer that if you take good care of your skin, you’ll have a smooth make up base to work with! Good skin = less make up! I’ve learnt over the years that consistency is the KEY to perfect skin so no matter how late I reach home, double cleansing and applying at least a moisturiser is A MUST! Here is my evening skincare routine and products I use every single day to achieve flawless hydrated skin! (P.S: It consists of 10 STEPS!)
1.) Biore Perfect Cleansing Oil
Biore Cleansing Oil is by far my absolute favourite makeup remover. I’ve been using this cleansing oil since I was 15 years old! That’s like 13 years!! I can’t believe I’ve been using this makeup remover for 13 years!!!
I’ve been using this Cleansing Oil for more than a decade and the very reason is because this oil is like a “magic eraser”. It effectively and gently dissolves and removes stubborn makeup including waterproof mascara! All my makeup melts away once I’ve massaged this into my skin and rinse it out. It doesn’t leave any greasy film and not a single trace of makeup or mascara is left behind on my face! Super gentle yet super powerful on my sensitive skin!
2.) Vichy Ideal White Brightening Deep Cleansing Foam
This cleansing foam is a no brainer! It lathers into thick luscious creamy foam which envelops my face which is SUPER comforting after a long day. It makes my skin feel super soft, fresh and clean after use and helps keep sunspots away! It definitely brightens my skin after every wash but doesn’t strip away the moisture. Neither does my face feel tight after use, which is a plus point!!
2.) SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion
When it comes to SK-II, the Facial Treatment Essence is on everyone’s skincare must have! However, the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion is a best kept secret! Whenever my pores starts getting cloggy, I pour a few drops of this toner on a cotton pad and saturate my entire face. This toner contains AHA and BHA, which help exfoliate and remove residual impurities. Revealing fresh skin ready for my entire skincare regimen.
3.) Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence
I cannot stress how IMPORTANT a facial essence is in my skincare routine! I saw how my serums and creams absorbed faster into my skin and worked better than applying them directly without using an essence.
This Caudalie Essence helps to minimize pores and refines my skin texture! If you’re into clean beauty you would love this! It contains organic grape water and a blend of essential oils, which makes this essence smell absolutely divine! SK-II Facial Treatment Essence is also one of my favourites!
4.) Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Complexion Correcting Serum
This oil free serum helps to even out my complexion, reduce dark spots and boost my skin’s radiance. I literally see my dark spots getting lighter and lighter by the day! And on days when I’m too tired to do the full routine? I’ll pop this on my skin, head to bed and wake up to a brighter radiant skin!
5.) IDS Pore Formula
IDS (Innovative Dermatological Solutions) is a top facial aesthetics company in Singapore who manufactures this Award Winning pore refining serum. I’ve been repurchasing this serum multiple times since I’ve started using it and this is the key product that helps keep my skin blemish free! It refines pores and reduces blackheads and whiteheads AND it also keeps oil production in balance without drying out my skin!
Whenever I stop using this serum, my skin’s texture becomes extremely uneven and rough and it starts getting cloggy with tiny bumps appearing on my skin surface so this one is definitely a HG in my routine! I can’t live without it!

6.) Vichy LiftActiv Vitamin C Brightening Skin Corrector
This Brightening Skin Corrector contains 5% Pure Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid and Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water which helps to brighten, hydrate and transform my skin texture. This is another one of my HG products! I’m currently on my 4th bottle! It literally plumps up my skin with moisture, brightens and even out my skin tone AND smooth out my skin texture! 7.) SK-II R.N.A POWER Radical New Age Moisturiser
This Anti-aging moisturizer nourishes and replenishes my complexion! I love it when I wake up in the morning after having used this face cream, my wrinkles and fine lines are softened and my skin feels extremely hydrated and nourished!
8.) Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Eye Cream.
This under eye cream is the first eye cream EVER that hasn’t given me milia seeds (Those pesky things!). I have really sensitive skin and so it was really difficult for me at first to find an eye cream that does what it claims and wouldn’t cause milia seeds. I’ve decided to give this under eye cream a chance after seeing so many beauty bloggers / influencers rave about it! And boy am I glad I DID!!
It’s a gel crème texture that’s silky smooth and extremely lightweight! It’s absolutely nourishing without the sticky feeling and it works so well under make up and concealers! After many months of consistent use, I see improvement to my dry under eyes, fine lines are less prominent and puffy eyes reduced significantly even after a late night the day before!
If you’re looking for a really solid, lightweight eye cream, do try this out! ALSO a little goes a long way!! I’ve been using this now for 10 months and I’ve barely hit half the tub!
10.) Perliere Mimi Nourishing Pearl Cream
This cream gets sold out so fast and once it’s out of stock, there’s a 2-3 months wait to get your hands on this!! Pearl cream has been extremely popular here in Asia for centuries. They are known for their skin brightening and whitening properties and this cream does EXACTLY that!
As the final step to my entire skin care routine, this cream is like icing on the cake! It’s semi solid in texture and helps seal the goodness of all those layers of essence, serums and moisturiser. It doesn’t absorb fully and does leave a white cast but it’s so worth it when you wake up the next day to even skintone! I’m on my 6th tub, which tells you I cannot live without it!!
