My hair is naturally pretty frizzy. The high level of humidity in Singapore doesn’t help at all! After I’ve gotten my hair permed, my usual way of using a hair straightener to deal and manage the frizz was out the door!
So.. I started researching on Anti-Frizz hair products and the L’Oreal Paris Eversleek range together with Keratase styling cream and hair oil are my LIFESAVERS! Where were these products hiding all my life!?! Here are my go to hair products to combat frizzy and unruly hair!
L’Oreal Eversleek Keratin Caring Shampoo and Conditioner
The shampoo and conditioner in the Eversleek range contains sunflower oil which gently cleanses chemically straightened (in my case.. PERMED) hair while caring for the essential protein and keratin that is found in hair. It helps repair, smooth and improve hair’s texture leaving it sleek and manageable with NO weigh down! The formula is especially gentle on my processed hair with no harsh sulfates, salts or surfactants that can strip, dull and damage hair. Its lush fresh aromatic fragrance is a plus point as well after a long day at work! The best part?? this shampoo is Vegan!
Even though the shampoo is marketed towards straightened hair, somehow it works perfectly on my permed hair as well! It helps soften and defined my luscious curls making it look natural and effortless. My hair feels nourished from roots to tips with no heavy weigh down as claimed!

Kérastase Oléo-Curl Hair Cream
On my towel dried hair before blasting my hair dryer, I apply this hair cream to combat Mr. Frizz and his unruly behaviour! Kérastase Pro-kératine complex technology helps to smooth the hair surface leaving hair replenished and smoothed. The hydrolyzed elastin helps bring elasticity to the hair texture, giving my hair strength and definition. This hair smoothing cream does just that! It not only manages frizz but helps define my curls even more, giving it definition and suppleness, enhancing the shape of my curls without any stiffness.
After drying my hair, I apply 2-4 pumps of the Oléo Relax Hair Oil to give my hair that beautiful glossy shine. The hair oil is formulated with Cationic Polymer which helps to to revive softness and shine of rebellious, dry hair. and Silicone Derivatives which reduces hair porosity making it less likely to absorb humidity and creates smooth hair.
To be honest, I don’t have much expectations in a hair oil except for one that doesn’t weight down my hair into an oily mess, and one that helps to combat frizz , and give my hair that glossy healthy shine. And this hair oil ticks EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY BOXES!!
